We are delighted that both Lankum and Ye Vagabonds have been nominated for a clutch RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Awards to be announced at the inaugural ceremony at Vicar Street, Dublin on 25th October.
Lankum are up Best Original Folk Track, Best Traditional Folk Track and Best Folk Group, as well as Radie Peat being up for a Best Folk Singer award, and Ye Vagabonds are nominated for Best Emerging Folk Artist, Best Traditional Folk Track and Best Folk Group. There is also a shortlist via a public vote for Best Folk Album – to be announced on the night.
