Faustus – New Tours Announced

Following their outstanding reception at the National in Canberra, Faustus continue their globe-trotting this autumn with trips to Germany and Denmark. Closer to home, they’re beavering away at song settings for the Lancashire Cotton Famine project, two of which have had Radio 4 airplay, and which they will feature at the Manchester Literary Festival in November. Prior to that they will be popping up at a few festivals, and appearing alongside Matthew Crampton (The Transports) in a new piece, Living by the Sea, for Sidmouth Folk Week.

Faustus are three of the leading lights of their generation: Benji Kirkpatrick (Seth Lakeman Band, Bellowhead), Saul Rose(Waterson:Carthy, Whapweazel) and Paul Sartin (Bellowhead, Belshazzar’s Feast). They have a plethora of experience between them, brought together here in a virtuosic display of musicianship and testosterone. Upcoming concerts will see the addition of some new material alongside old favourites as they research the history of the 1860s Cotton Famine.

Available 18, 20 & 23-27 November 2018.
February 2019 , 17-31 October 2019 and Festivals.
